The story of my friendship with Sivan doesn’t really differ from what was stated above. We met nearly a decade ago, but didn’t become close friends till a few years later (absurdly), after we both dated the same guy. Since then, obviously, we’ve both dated other guys – some more significant than others, and together we laughed, sobbed, partied, danced, ate and drank. Nowadays, when we hang out, our agenda remains similar (more or less) and includes endless yapping, delicious (and elegant) vegetarian treats (Sivan’s specialty), drinks (my part of the deal) and endless questions directed at Sivan, inquiring about pretty much every detail in her gorgeous apartment (“where’s that candlestick from ? Where did you get those glasses? Wow – LOVE those skulls!!!” etc ) – while listening to music from her awesome record collection.
On my last visit, I came not only with a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc (because we both prefer our wine white and light), but with my faithful photographer – who carefully documented not only the Parisian, bohemian vibe that Sivi’s place has, but also her lovely hospitality and also – our yapping ;-)
