My childhood memories of family vacations consist of running like crazy from site to site – hitting every museum, show and shop within a 5 mile radius of the city we were visiting, making sure not to miss out on ANY attraction available. Basically, my mom would hold my hand and with quick, decisive steps – walk me through every possible exhibit in the Met, for example, in less than 1 hour.
The vacations my husband and I choose to take are slightly different. Luckily, we both like to take it easy (when we’re on vacation, of course) and mostly relax and and indulge ourselves – especially when there’s a beach and a pool in the vicinity 😉
This year, our annual trip to Greece was work related (for my husband), but I made sure to relax, tan and pamper myself on his behalf as well. That’s just the kind of person I am – I’m all heart!

A visit to nearby city, Thessaloniki, awarded me with an awesome pair of Adidas by Stella McCartney leggings and a couple of nice pics, but mostly – I missed lounging around in the hotel 😉
Men at work :-P
To make a long story short: I’d love to tell you all about the beautiful views and sites to see in Halkidiki, but when god awards you with a private beach and makes sure no one is around to disturb your peace – you don’t argue. Conditions are perfect to just relax, enjoy the sound of the waves and read a book that makes your heart go “aaaahhhh”.
